As you are aware, the recent and ongoing restrictions around COVID-19 are extremely exceptional and unsettling to all of you. For this reason we have put the following policy in place.
If you have to reschedule your wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate your booking provided your new Wedding date is not over 12 months from the original date. If you new Wedding date is over 12 months from the original booking date then you will be charged as per the new price list. So if you have booked us in March 2019, and you are rescheduling your wedding in April 2021 then you will be charged with 2021 prices. For any reason if you do not proceed with the booking on new prices then we suggest you have adequate insurance cover as in that case the deposit will not be refundable. We make every effort to make sure we are available for your new dates.
We allow a 12 month grace period from your existing Wedding date in which to book your new event in.
If you decide to cancel your wedding all together due to any reason other than government restrictions where wedding cannot take place or you have booked a date without consulting us and we are not available then unfortunately your deposit is not refundable . This deposit will be charged against any consultations that would have done from the booking date until the cancellation date and/or cover our business from the loss by not taking other booking. You must ensure you have adequate wedding insurance in place so you do not incur any loss.
In case you reduce the number of events, you will not be charged for the balance of that event but the deposit of that event will not be refundable. For e.g. If you had Wedding and Reception on the day, but for new date you only have Wedding. In this case we will not charge you for the Reception event but the deposit you paid against the Reception event will not be refundable.
Please DO NOT confirm your new dates without checking with us, we request you to provide us couple of options so we could confirm our availability. We cannot guarantee that we will be available at your chosen date so please do contact us at your earliest.
Securing the booking of the event -
The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to the makeup artist. The deposit is 50% for any hair and make up booking– this is required to secure the event and is non refundable or transferable. This is same for any Makeup course. Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist's services for the event.
The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid to secure the booking however the client will not be liable for any further payments
Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given -will result in a refund to the client. No further compensation will be offered. Any deposit paid for securing the hair and makeup booking, The Masterclass session or 121 makeup session including but not limited to Professional makeup courses will not be refunded. Any change in the date where Client is not able to attend for any reason will be based on the availability of next session and does not guarantee the slot in next session.
Travel Expenses -
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking.
This is to include, should it be required, congestion charging and parking charges
Responsibility of the client -
The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client's failure to inform the artist of any known condition.
The non-refundable deposit paid by the client is taken off the fee.
Trial charges are extra and have to be paid in advance.
The fee is to be paid in full by the client one month (28 days) before the event
Failure to pay the fee within the stated time will result in the event being cancelled by the makeup artist
